WAA FILMS

WAA Films documents the living traditions of Ghana’s master artisans, the custodians of  Ghanaian heritage and culture capturing the artistry, stories and wisdom behind their craft.

Through intimate films and conversations, we explore how weaving, flag-making, basketry and textile dyeing can adapt to today’s world while preserving their cultural and ecological roots.

Our films are more than documentation, they are a dialogue between past and future, asking how heritage practices can shape sustainable design today.
