A striking mid-century Asante woven cloth featuring bold geometric compositions and rhythmic checkerboard motifs in earthy tones of ochre, burgundy, black, gold, and soft pink against a muted handwoven ground.

The alternating block motifs and finely balanced spacing give the cloth a strong architectural presence while maintaining the softness and movement. The subtle irregularities and gentle wear throughout the textile speak to its age, authenticity, and history of use.

Originally created for ceremonial and prestige occasions, pieces of this nature were worn during important community gatherings, celebrations, and rites of passage. Today, it functions beautifully as a collectible textile, wall display, or statement interior piece.
