We are committed to the preservation and reinvention of Ghana’s textile heritage. Rooted in sustainability, our work begins with the safeguarding of Vintage Ewe Kente and Asafo Flags, treasured legacies of West African weaving and storytelling.

Through our growing archive and collaborations with master artisans, we ensure that the artistry of Kente weaving and flag-making continues to inspire future generations.

Our design practice reimagines tradition through an eco-conscious lens. From upcycling secondhand garments, weaving techniques, to crafting handbags from sustainable raffia and recycled leather, we transform materials once discarded into contemporary fashion that carries memory, culture and meaning.

Every creation is guided by our belief that nothing is wasted, each thread, each piece of cloth, each stitch is bridging ancestral craftsmanship with innovative design, WAA Studio GH speaks to a global audience while remaining deeply rooted in Ghanaian identity.
